Instructions
Mix: 3 tbsp yeast, 1 tbsp white sugar in one cup room temp water. Let it sit until it doubles.
In a separate bowl, add 9 cups flour, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 tbsp salt. Mix and add to the yeast mixture, along with 3 cups warm water and 1/2 cup of oil. Mix and let rest for 30 mins.
Knead after 30 mins and let rise for 1-2 hours as needed. Roll out part of the dough (1/3) into rectangle. Spread with lots of soft butter, then sprinkle with cinnamon and chopped pecans.
Then cover with honey and brown sugar. Roll lengthwise and slice into different pieces. Bake at 190 C for 20ish minutes.
Icing recipe: Mix 1 cup icing sugar, 1 tbsp butter (soft), 1 tbsp honey, 1/2 tbsp milk, vanilla, pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg. Cover buns when they come out of oven so it can melt over them
(makes 3 dozen but you can easily split it into half or 1/3!)
